Day 67: Linus in Stockholm part 1

No rain today! Linus got here this morning and we went for a great breakfast at Gast Café; any breakfast with good scrambled eggs in it is great for my purposes.

Lush, not a damn pastry in sight

We spent the day seeing some sights. First a ferry over to the ABBA museum, which my mum could easily have spent a whole day in, was way better than I expected. Fun exhibits with loads of interactive things to do, including karaoke and dancing with ABBA holograms ?.

? My my, At Waterloo Napoleon did surrender, Oh yeah! ?

Then we checked out the Vasa shipwreck, and the wrecks museum–both really cool, especially if you’re into naval history.

Vasa, about 400 years old, sank 1.5km out of the harbour because it was too heavy, oops

Bruno (who we met in Germany) recommended Meatballs for the People as a good dinner spot so we went there this evening, really good food and lots of unusual meat options. Including boar, reindeer and bear ?

After that, a few nightcaps at the Ice Bar near the train station. -7°C!

Ideal temperature for me, poncho & gloves mandatory though
