{"id":235,"date":"2022-08-30T16:48:02","date_gmt":"2022-08-30T15:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/?p=235"},"modified":"2023-01-20T11:09:20","modified_gmt":"2023-01-20T11:09:20","slug":"day-21-aborted-mission-to-cinque-terre-%f0%9f%98%85","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/2022\/08\/30\/day-21-aborted-mission-to-cinque-terre-%f0%9f%98%85\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 21: Aborted mission to Cinque Terre ?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last night a lass from Surrey gave me solid advice for next stops, so now it&#8217;s gonna be Genoa &gt; Florence &gt; Bologna &gt; Venice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sara (Italy) lives in Bologna so we&#8217;re going to meet up when I get there and she&#8217;s gonna show me the best of it&#8211;you can&#8217;t beat a local guide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We got up early today to head over to Cinque Terre, after two cancelled trains we were told there&#8217;s work on the lines and it&#8217;d be hard to get there argh! Hank (Colorado) and I were gutted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/wp-1661873973010.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The day was not lost! Forecast for storms but we still hit the bus down to Boccadasse Beach for the afternoon, chill &amp; swim.
