The full details of my train fuck-up this morning are too tedious to recite. Interrail is great value but they need to really sort out the seat reservations process as it&#8217;s very clunky and easy to mess up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-882\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-1024x768.png 1024w, https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-768x576.png 768w, https:\/\/seanmaddison.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image.png 1512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Should&#8217;ve been getting the train from here to London, argh!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So then, having been unable to get my Eurostar (mostly my own fault) I book a lunch-time flight to East Midlands Airport with Flybe. (I. Hate. Flying. More on this some other day)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flight was delayed by around five hours argh! I eventually got back to East Midlands airport around 19:30 and then a quick Skylink bus to home. Not so bad in the end, just lots of time in an airport is bad for the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a mess!
